Pacify

There are waves this morning, and it has settled down a little overnight. The winds aren’t howling, and you can find some clean faces to slide down. It’s dropped off quite a lot in size, only 3-4 footers on offer at sunrise. Quite a large crowd out, enjoying their freedom and mostly working-from-homies.

There should be half decent conditions for the rest of this week. Weather also improves, so plenty of sunshine coming right up. It will remain cold, especially in the mornings.

Sunrise is 6:48 am and later by 1 minute every day as we approach the winter solstice (June 21 where it rises at 7:43 am).

Have a good Wednesday! Enjoy this very early edition of Aquabumps. :: uge

  1. Uge! Been getting your pictures just about since you started. Have to tell you mate, sunrise in Sydney during the winter solstice is 7.00 am. It never rises later than that, unless by a minute. Winter days are 7.00 am till 5.00 pm approximately. Sunset is a bit earlier for about 3 to 4 weeks either side, but it’s easy to remember 7.00 am till 5.00 pm (10 hours)

Consequently the summer solstice has about 14 hours of sun above the horizon. Equinox, 12 hours everywhere on planet earth. Cheers. Andrew
