I was getting all excited about today, put time aside to paddle out and sample some for myself… on paper, it looked good, offshore and building south swell (8 foot tonight). Benny from Coastalwatch was even classifying today in the ‘EPIC’ range. So there I was, waxing my 7’2″ Rhino (thinking I would be doing this) and when I arrived at the beach all I saw was 3-4 foot junk. Yep, she’s offshore but still very agitated from the recent onshore winds. Oh well, back to the office!
You’re not really missing out on anything down here. The winds will swing onshore this afternoon making a real mess.
