Another corka day in sunny Queensland for the Noosa
Festival of Surfing. Damn it’s hot up here. Local legend
Josh Constable winning the men’s final and Chelsea
Williams winning the women’s in 2 foot/200 metre rights.
Water is 24 degrees up here! The 7S Superfish invitational
heats were ran today also (that’s all riding the same oversized
fish). Contenders include crew like tennis legend Pat Rafter…Mark
Eymes…Doug Lees from SW…Bonga Perkins…Mark Kel.
The back beaches are pumping 4 feet and offshore right
now. Super sucky on the low – how about that 1st shot. Gave me a
rinsing a second later. I gotta get back out there…

It looks like you’ve had a big south change come thru last night
messing up most of the 3 footers on offer. Swell direction looks
ESE. Junkie today. Should clean up for the weekend – great weather
predicted sat/sun. 2-3 foot. 25 degrees Sat. 29 degrees Sunday.
