Amanpulo

“Aman” means “peace” in Sanskrit, and “Pulo” means “island” in Filipino /Tagalog – a perfect description of this heavenly island in the Palawan Province of the Philippines.

Amanpulo, a world away from the hustle and bustle of Manila, south of the capital, is one of the planet’s most exquisite beach paradise islands.

The sea’s colour is unique. It is a different shade of blue that glows in the sunlight, distinct from our recent adventures in Maldives or Indonesia.

After a month of chasing waves abroad, we’re chilling here on this small private island surrounded by calm seas and world-class hospitality.

Amanpulo has hosted some of the world’s most famous people, all of whom I’m not allowed to divulge!

I know the surf has been pumping in Sydney after weeks of storms. I trust you’ve found some.
