When I arrived at the beach this morning I bumped into a few country punks from Vicco. They made me laugh. Two off them were stuck in a rip and loving it, the other just stoked to see Bondi at sunrise. They were from inland. They’re used to swimming in swamps and marveled over our Bondi water clarity. It was only 9 degrees this morning and the Viccos were parading around like it was summer “So warm ‘ere aye!’
It made me think, we are lucky to have all this at our doorsteps. Blue water, waves and swimmable water all year ’round. I’m not sure how I would cope growing up along side a swamp.
Smaller waves today. 2 footers. Strange left bank setup with a rip from hell. I shot in the water today…so much water moving I barely connected with anything.
Parking around Bondi is as rare as hen’s teeth. Prime Park is a online market place for parking. You can hire out your car bay…think of City to Surf this weekend when the hordes arrive. See Prime Park now.
