It’s flat az. It’s a lake. It’s so flat you could mistakenly think that you just woke up in The Med. It’s rare to see our ocean this flat and energyless.

It was a glorious spring morning with a chill in the air. The west winds always bite deep. Those same west winds will continue to pick up during the day and blow up to 20 knots tonight.
There is talk of a head high wave tomorrow, but they said that about yesterday (Sunday), and it was tiny. Let’s see how it pans out.
The Australian Institute of Professional Photography has announced its closure after 75 years of service. Hard to believe. I’ve won some of their awards and have been a member for most of my professional career. I’ve met many good shooters in the institute and their events. Times are changing, and it seems most photography education is via social media, reels and TikTok dancing!
