We have one foot of Easterly swell with barely a breath of wind this morning. Perfect, wasn’t it? Well, perfect for a swim.
I reckon if we had a sand bank at south, it would have actually broke for mal riders….instead it was surging up on to the shore, and plonking.
The sunshine is in abundance. Such a treat days like these.
Tomorrow will be different, some south winds and south swell (miniscule).
I lost a Da Fin Flipper size 9 this morning (like this). I was sitting on the shore, taking them off and a 1cm wave snatched it back into the ocean – never to be seen again. Just shows how powerful the undertow at South Bondi can be – it all happened in 1 second. I searched for ages. If you find it, I’ll give you a big Aquabumps book to say thanks.

It’s time for waverley council to do something valuable for surfers and build the freaking artificial reef or two to support all swell directions. I will not whine at all if they pocket some of those funds of this project.
Jack its been proposed before, and we all went up to Council for a meeting – but didn’t fly!
