The ladies of Bondi were out in force this morning dominating the peak. It’s always a fun (noisier) vibe when the girls are out. They do love their team waves! Good sharers.
A band spanking new south swell has arrived in town, and Bondi loves it. I was surprised to see set waves in the head high vicinity. Wave frequency was low, lulls were long, but crowd factor relatively sparse. I guess the 15-degree morning start deterred a few. It’s the first cold morning of the year – and a good sign of Autumn gears clicking into action.
Today, I’d like to thank you for reading Aquabumps for 19 years, but I also need a favour… I need a donation to back my SurfAid Bondi Cup team. Why? I am doing my annual charity drive, raising money for the impoverished people of Indonesia, where I often frequent to surf. It means a lot to me if you could spare a few bucks, anything, and donate. I won’t ask you for anything else for another year after that. So all 40,000 readers of Aquabumps daily emails, I want you to kick in, please. Donate now
