I know that I am meant to be excited at the prospect of surfing a wave today that might break above my head – but I am not.
The predicted east swell has hit and waves are now 3-4 foot, but a flanking nemesis easterly wind has followed – making onshore slop. Further up the beach of Bondi to the North you’ll find protected waves, but they’re still wonky. Sit tight and wait for the winds to swing offshore – estimated Thursday night or Friday.
I swear every time I pulled out a lens today a rain cloud appeared and poured on me. Struggled to shoot anything decent today…oh that 1st shot is from Ht’s, Indonesia…just had to look at something decent. Been a while between good waves…
Take me up to goldie right now – where it’s firing. ::uge
where could i get a copy of that indo odyssey pic ? its sick!
Contact Jason Childs – he lives in Bali, and good shoooter. uge
Gees, sorry about the drizzle in Bondi today … glorious morning in Denmark (WA) this morning. 🙂
I feel your pain all the way in New York. At least it’s warm where you are. I would be fine surfing onshore 3-4 ft slop in boardies right now.
great cover shot uge – absolutely love it
Someone has appropriated 15440 – it is quite prominent on Surfline as of last night.
