There’s something magical about the air after a rain shower. The dust settles, the horizon sharpens, and the light is crisp. The ocean reflects the sky like a polished mirror, and even the sand looks cleaner, washed smooth by the downpour.
Around 7am the Alfred’s heavy clouds roll back, revealing a blanket of sunshine, illuminating the bay with all it’s activities. It felt quieter than usual, as many opted to sleep in with the late sunrise.
The waves are tiny yet fun for large surf craft. The water warm and calm. Gentle breezes from the east and warm temperatures are the theme of the day. Go outside! It’s a cracker now.
