Remember the movie Bladerunner? In every scene, it’s raining. A bit like Sydney. Everywhere I go, I’m wet – soggy. I’ve even stopped wearing shoes in big downpours – and just roll around bare feet. Fun, isn’t it? The postie rocked in with knee-high gumboots – that’s the ticket, clever.
There’s a rumour people are catching Gastro from the brown water at South Bondi, I don’t know about that – I do give my ears and eyes a good rinse post-surf. Sydney Water does have signs up – warning us of contamination in the water – it actually looked relatively clean at sunrise, but there weren’t torrential dumps for a few hours (rare).
Surfing? Yar. It’s smaller and bumpy and lumpy – but you can catch waves. Nothing too exciting.
Two people have won a share of 120 million in Lotto last night – 1 in WA and 1 in Coffs Harbour. I just want to reiterate – we ship gallery artworks to both WA and Coffs and would love to see you and your 60 million in-store. I’ll throw in a free car wash from my kids with any large purchase.
Enjoy this weekend – it’s going to be 100% raining, so binge on Netflix’s “Inventing Anna” or a good movie. Gallery open for biz too!
