Often you see paradise pictures on postcards, coasters, in mags and wonder – where the hell is that? Chances are it’s from the beautiful Maldives. Over 1,200 islands litter this archipelago and they are consistently picturesque with clean sand, palm trees and dreamy blue water. We’ve headed out of the main area (where there are 200 resorts), motored our boat towards the remote atolls where you don’t really see other surfers and most of the islands are uninhabited.
The surf has been quite small as we wait for a inbound swell from the SW. In the mean time there is plenty of fun to be had in this aquatic playground.
