The past couple of days have been quite uninspiring for wave riders. The combination of overcast skies, 2 foot wind waves and onshore snore are painting a pretty ugly picture. The swell direction has more east in it today, (ESE), and the winds are still SE 10 – 15 knots. Basically there is not much surfing to be done until Sunday where a new East swell will be hitting. This new swell will be decent until Tuesday and expect waves around 4-5 foot at exposed beaches. Until then I’d suggest doing other things…
LH
Andrew Kidman chose six of his favourite surfing filmmakers to create short films that were inspired by the sea. The filmmakers include Albert Falzon (Morning Of The Earth), Jon Frank (Litmus) & who taught me water shooting, Monty Webber, Michelle Lockwood (Kids) and American underground surf filmmakers Patrick Trefz (Thread) and Richard Kenvin (Hydrodynamica). Kidman also provides four special cuts of his own. Blend these talented lensmans work with a superb soundtrack (picked by Aaron Cunrow of Spunk) and you’ve got something uniquely inspiring to watch – LAST HOPE. July 16th the tour comes to Bondi, Waverly Bowling Club, 7pm 163 Birrell St, Waverly buy tix
