There’s a massive high-pressure system smothering Australia right now. I’m told it’s stubborn and won’t move on, blocking change (that sounds like my tykes). The pressure pushing down on the ocean is also creating very low tides. Weird huh? I won’t mind this rain period moving on, though…
One of the benefits of the current weather is that there seems to be a constant supply of swell. This morning’s swell was bigger than yesterday, and a hollow right showed up for my morning shoot. Sets broke well over head high, and some diamonds were mixed in with closeouts.
It’s been dry all morning, but around lunchtime, it will bucket, so go outside, walk, and swim before we get dowsed again.
My little guys are surfing in the Bondi Surfaid Cup next week, and they would love it if you donated to their fundraising team. They’ve already raised $6400 of their target of $20k (eternally gratefully to many of my readers for chipping in). My boys have travelled to Sumba (Indonesia) and seen first-hand where Surfaid’s donations go and who they help. You will also go in the draw to win a 125cm wide $1500 artwork of your choice from Aquabumps Gallery (for donations of over $20AUD).
Tutto bene! Grazie, ugio
