How good is this weather!
A shark parked itself underneath me yesterday whilst surfing South Bondi. The water was crystal clear I could see it clearly about a foot underneath me tootsies. A curious bugger – had a look at me and then glided on by out to sea. In all my time in the ocean – that’s never happened to me. It wasn’t that big – say 6 feet, but you should have seen my kids speed to the beach, haha!
Today it’s similar conditions, small waves on a clear sky, a clear water day. The lineup was pretty much empty, whilst two footers limped into the bay intermittently. 14 knots of WSW winds making it neat and blue – a glorious morning to be down the beach.
Another tiny surf day tomorrow, with a big day on Wednesday.
