Usually when there is a 13 second, 3-4 foot south swell and offshore winds I have some fantastic waves to shoot. The forecast was a dud – a nonevent – didn’t happen.
I can hear the crowd booing, cars are being over turned on the streets and riot police on high alert. What happened? Where are the pumping waves? Who knows…
I blame the current sandbanks at Bondi. Thankfully the Bulldozers are set to change all that, we hope.
I do know it’s a mighty beautiful beach day and Bondi is in top gear. Find yourself a nice patch of sand (in between the Bulldozer tracks) and spend the arvo in paradise. The water could not get any better – so warm.
