New South Wales is the home of Australia’s unique ocean pools. There are over 100 salty, seaside pools built into rocky points and nooks in this state. Most of them built over 100 years ago.
They were originally set up to provide safe swimming havens from our wild oceans and waves, maybe a bit of peace of mind from those men in grey suits too. Now they’ve become a big part of our culture and identity, also a juicy subject matter for The Gram addicts. In fact, Bondi is one of the top Instagrammed locations in Australia – of course – but I would put my money on it that The Icebergs is the key feature of those Bondi snaps.
At the moment, most of these ocean pools are shut due to The Rona. Don’t worry, you’ll be floating on your back, with all your buddies, in these pools…very soon.
Here are a few from my Ocean Pool collection. Please note, the aerials are shot from helicopters (not drones), so they can be blown up huge on your walls (like 167cm x 118cm). We are still shipping Aust-Wide for free when you enter code BYECORONA20 in the cart, upon check out online.
Our Bondi Gallery doors are shut, but we’re all still working online to answer any questions, producing artwork, delivering the artwork to your door. From 9:30am to 6pm Sydney time our live chat is manned, ready to answer any of your questions on the spot.
Have a good day on your stay-cation :: uge
