Sydney Opera House at sunrise today

City to Surf

Once upon a time I worked in a tiny cubicle in the city. I did 8 years in the big smoke. The lack of view from my cubicle inspired me to start the Aquabumps daily photo email (circa 1999). I sent it to mates. It grew…and now 17 years later it still kicks on!

This morning I veered off my usual beach tracks and headed into our CBD. Only takes 15 mins at 6am. I found myself shooting our most famous structure, the Opera House. Oh yes, so cliche but so good looking too!

If you are running the City to Surf this weekend I am expecting you to pop into the Aquabumps Gallery which is very close to the finish line.

I doubt you’ll find any surf for the rest of the week. It’s tiny. Stunning weather though, 23 today!
