Can you believe it is going to be 32 degrees today? How about them apples.
The northerlies are gonna blow too, 20 knots, so the water temperature will drop and the waves will dribble.
This morning I rolled down the beach and the car park was full by 6:00am. Every man and his log was out there trimming the 1-2 footers – chaos!

Aquabumps has formed a team to surf in the SURFAID cup being held on Nov 2. SURFAID is a great charity that raises money for the poor peeps of Mentawai Islands. If you have surfed Mentawais or plan to soon, or maybe found a place to rent on my noticeboard, of just like our daily photos – I want you to sponsor our team. We’re trying to raise $15,000…and we’re up to $2,561.
There is some great new publications out there nowadays that I reckon you’ll all be into. White Horses and Paper Sea. Both indi titles, honest, arty and ocean inspired. Not sure who’s behind em but they’re good. Ok, sometimes they use eligible 4 pt type on their spreads but they’ve got some damn good fotos…
