Hi. I’m in Indonesia for my annual surf-infused junket and loving it! We’re surfing the dregs of that swell that hit Bali for the WSL finals, and I won’t lie, it’s now small. When it’s small you can hit the exposed beaches which seem to always have a head high wave…and they’re so hollow. Not a single human in sight. Paradise.
In the recent Bondi Asana Surfaid Cup, collectively (all teams), we raised $96,000. Surfaid operates in this area and I’m proud to say the Aquabumps team raised the most cash, $16,000. Thank you. I’ll make sure your hard-earned donations are put to good use out here.
We’re cruising on the Ratu Motu, formerly known as the Indies Trader IV. The boat is full of fuel and we’ll go wherever required to find the best waves in the archipelagos. Today we’re in the Telos archipelago, tomorrow back in Northern Mentawais Archipelago. Small swell is forecast for the next few days – then it turns on. Stand by.
Hope all is well back home. This post is brought to you via outer space (Satellite)
