Sorry about the recent radio silence. You’ve probably worked out that school holidays mean I’m outta town and wrestling with two young tykes that wanna surf 6 hours a day. The regular programming for Aquabumps resumes tomorrow, Wednesday. Promise.
For the last couple of months, we’ve been out on the open roads, exploring NSW in partnership with Visit NSW. From the coast to Outback, we’ve been everywhere… as well as awed, wowed, energised and inspired by the places we have been.
We’ve been spending a lot of time on the NSW North Coast around Byron (my wife’s hometown)…and I always find there’s magic in the Cape region. This magic has drawn people there for decades… a sunset surf at The Pass, sunrise run to the lighthouse, morning coffee on the lawns of Top Shop or getting shacked on a hollow wedge at Tallows – it’s all good.
The water temperature is balmy all year round; there’s always a beach out of the wind (sans humans). Recently, we’ve discovered the hinterland hosts many hidden gems and waterfalls (for post-surf recovery). There’s even a decent array of skateparks for frothing groms.
Now that the water has receded from the recent devastating flooding in NSW’s northern rivers, it’s time to venture north, support the local communities and discover this special place for yourself.
After not being able to move around for so long, it’s been awesome for us to rediscover one of our favourite NSW destinations. It was just what we needed to make us feel new again. More of our Feel NSW adventures to come soon!

There is truly so much to see in Northern NSW. We hope you get a chance to come and FEEL Urunga and the Bellingen Shire sometime soon. (Urunga – Myleston – Bellingen & Dorrigo) all offer something spectacular experiences that you will never forget.
