I was a little late to the party this morning as the skies blew up hues of pinks.
5:45 am I was pedalling ferociously towards the beach; I could see a thin cloud off Benny Buckler putting on a colour show…bugger! I’m still slapping myself as I write this riveting editorial. The first light is now 5:30 am.
There’s a monstrous South swell in town early; it was 100% closing out the bay of Bondi. I saw people paddling with little joy. Those salubrious twin banks have eroded and are now just a channel (unfortunately), and the rip has turned off (that rip makes things crank).
The weather this week will be fantastic up until Thursday, where showers are predicted. I’m happy to report a solid 25 degrees for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Currently, we’ve got a light northerly breeze, making for immaculate conditions in the eastern suburbs. Swell is dropping fast, like the tide. Very small surf forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday before a new swell arrives later Friday and Saturday breaks over head high.
Have a fantastic day, :: uge
