Dripping

Good afternoon. Sorry about the late post, I did shoot at sunrise in the frosty winds. Cold wasn’t it?

Bondi had a little wave, 1-2 foot at 7am. With an inbound swell it’s growing by the minute. Right now it’s 3 foot. The next 5 days is going to be perfect for around here. Small south swells…that don’t close out the bay. Sunny to boot! Good times.

Chris Prestidge is another local photographer that focuses on portraits and weddings. I see him down Bondi all the time either on the log on capturing the flattering warm morning light. Check out Chris’s work here

Amy, can you see that swell coming?

Relax.

  1. Uge we love your shots and would love to have one on our wall but need portrait (rather than landscape) orientation. Know that most waves are horizontal but wondered if there might be a great (very high res) shot that could be cropped successfully? (Have looked at current portraits in the gallery but none are as dynamic as we would like.) Thanks

    1. Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for your query. Creatively, we choose not to crop or re-orientate existing, published work. Have you considered perhaps having two complimenting images stacked? It can fill a vertical wall-space equally as well.

Uge spends considerable time shooting landscapes so therefore this is where the broader range of his work resides.

Give me a call in the gallery if you wish. Happy to give you some recommendations.

      Cheers,
