Yesterday, between 9am and 11am, the surf was pumping in Sydney full stop. Shame about that violent south change that brought everything to a messy halt at 11am. Hell – even Bondi was throwing out a few little pits. Unfortunately the onshore winds continued this morning and the waves are a very untidy 2-3 foot. Swell direction is currently from the EAST and will swing SOUTH by 4pm today (better for Bondi). These decent swells are flanked with strong winds making it bumpy and very unpredictable, so best wait for it to settle. Today’s shots are from the clear underwater patches of last week. Some of the cleanest water I’ve ever seen at Bondi. All week we’ve got swell…so keep an eye on when the wind dies ::uge
