I’m back… Back from Singapore and a week off these daily photo updates. If you’re passing through Singas or live there, my exhibition will be hanging on the walls of the Tanjong Beach Club (Sentosa) for a few more weeks.
Back to Bondi – the wind (20 knots) was up very early and the sun was rising late. We have swell and banks just not the surface conditions.It’s a mess, a real mess. Wait until it cleans up later this week.
The great news is that there is a strong Easterly swell heading our way this week. Wednesday looks to be the pick of the days as the winds will be favourable. Well that’s what my buddy Ben McCartney reckons. He knows.

Hey I was in Singapore last week, took an afternoon off and tried to make to the exhibition at Tanjong for something different but didn’t get past the wave machine at Wave House, Sentosa. Paid my $S45 for an hour and had a blast. Some of the locals were ripping, getting barrelled and doing airs. One told me they sometimes get up at 5am and drive to Malaysia for what I presume is wind swell. Hats off to them. It ain’t surfing but you go with what you got. Fun is where you find it.
