It’s pretty puuuuuurfect right now – especially for the last day of winter. Sunshine for days, winds are non-existent, water is glassy and there’s a tiny 1 footer up north for beginners, longboarders and groms.
It’s a family affair today – by that I mean my whole family was out there getting their wave quotas up before school – what a life these groms have!
Swell is due to pick up – shoulder-high by nightfall (hopefully).
Pray for swell. How good was the weekend! Oh man, Saturday was super-fun.

Its a long shot, but there was a photographer last night at sunset in North Bondi who was taking photos as me and my girlfriend got out from the surf.
Your ‘dreamy last night’ photo looks like it might have been you taking some snaps! Is there any chance you took any photos of a guy & girl walking with surfboards up to north bondi ramp? Shes on a big blue foamie, i’ve got a longboard.
She has just started to learn to surf so if there are any good photos id love to buy one as a present.
