Frenzy

If you own a surfboard, there’s a fair chance you were out there this morning. Am I right? Typically, I arrive at the beach, and it is quiet, as you all sleep and slowly flow into the bay – but today – wow, it was a mass of humans as the sun rose around 6 am. The carpark was banked up, the e-bikes buzzing around, swim squads swarmed and ice baths-a-plenty – it was a beach frenzy!

There’s an increase in ENE swell today, producing waves around the corner, but it was at max capacity, and everyone I spoke to said they couldn’t get a wave due to the thick layer of humans.

Bondi was 1-2 feet, and there were about a thousand people out. Grab your longboard and a good attitude for a pre-work paddle.

Have a great day – it’s warm in and out of the water.

P.S. here’s a good local wedding and portrait photographer (Chris).
