Two-Oh-Two-Fiver

Welcome to my first post for 2025! Happy New Year to you all.

Western Australia has many things, but exquisite beaches are plentiful, and most are empty, even during the peak holiday season. It’s refreshing to be on a beach with no one else after living in Bondi for so long. Space!

The winds are brutal, not gonna lie, so timing is essential or hide on the other leeward side of The Capes. Without those winds, it would be incredibly hot – so it’s a love-hate situation, and this time of year can be the windiest. The changing seasons are the best time to visit West Oz.

Don’t forget, you can fly directly from Sydney to Busselton – right into the area you want to be, 30 mins from your first surf or swim. And if you’re looking for a romantic tiny cabin in pure isolation on the corner of a vast farming property, check Heyscape out.

Have the best year, :: uge
