For something different, I popped over the hill to the quaint seaside village of Bronte. Bronte is famous for its’ Bogey Hole, a natural ocean pool snug up against the beach’s southern end.
At sunrise, the light at Bronte is good. It consistently hits the pool at a decent angle, illuminating many natives during their morning rituals.
Bronte is also a natural endpoint in your coast run from Bondi. It’s the turnpike, the halfway mark of your morning trott. Maybe stop for a dip or a ocean stare, before fumbling off to work.
The waves were ‘tidak bagus’ at Bronte and Tama, while the conditions favoured Bondi. Ramp Dos had head-high peaks this morning (decent), which, sadly, at my last check (3 pm), had now disappeared with the tide drawing out.
It’s one helluva nice day, 25 degrees and perfectly sunny.
Enjoy it!
Should I mention my new book? I know, been banging on about it (I’m very proud of it). Just want to make sure you get a copy.
