The kids woke me up early because they saw a horizon of potential—a low cloud ceiling surrounding Ben Buckler with some subtle pink tints already seeping through. I raced down, 100-megapixel medium format in tow, ready to capture in 16-bit glory.
Wow, wasn’t that an impressive morning? It was mind-blowing how intense the pinks and reds were.
Twenty minutes later, it was a beach of greys. The storm has arrived, and a few showers have been circling. The waves have dropped after cranking yesterday, only 1-2 feet. It’s a warm day with a muggy 26 degrees.
Sculpture By The Sea is now on until November 4th. If you’re doing the arty walk, you can always finish in our gallery on Hall Street. We’d love to see you.
