We start in the dark on these types of days. The light was smothered with a thick blanket of clouds – pretty hard to see, let alone shoot.
From what I could see, there are clean waves today. Head high and predominantly closing out on lower tides. 9:30 am was the high tide line, whilst 3:48 pm is the low tide – and I reckon it won’t be good all arvo.
I want to say I’ve been surfing all morning, hence the late posting, but I pulled off a root canal instead – oh, the joys!
Tomorrow looks small and clean, groms and beginners will be going mad.

P.S. The meaning of APHOTIC is being the deep zone of an ocean or lake receiving too little light to permit photosynthesis.
