Everyone thinks Bondi is a small city beach with massive crowds every day. It’s not. Lately, it has been hectic with decent weather, no covid lockdowns and multiple events…but it’s not always like that. So take this morning – the beach was empty under stormy skies. Such contrasts!
The swell has dropped but would be much more consistent (and bigger) at exposed breaks (not South facing Bondi). Swell looks ENE. The winds are WSW and offshore.
I know many locals are angry about the 2,000 people having dinner in white on Saturday. Please direct your opinions to the proper channels – I’m just a beach bum with a camera documenting what I see down there – not your mayor!
I like seeing Bondi come alive after so many weird years of Rona.
