Dive

Swimming with my camera is my favourite form of photography. It’s how Aquabumps began (1999) and something I think I will always do.

Swimming on days like today is a real treat; even though the mercury on land is plummeting, it’s pretty fantastic underwater – hidden from the winter’s breeze.

It’s all quiet underneath the surface, no mobile phones pinging, no social media, no busy-busy – barely anyone down there – just a school of fish and few stingrays.

Gotta love Winter Bondi.

Maybe check out the underwater collection of my work. (the good stuff from around the globe)

P.S. Swell came up a tad, waist high and not flat like yesterday. Clean in the corner. More swell to come.

    Well said.

It might just be the last place on earth where you can find true solitude. Which is a wonderful thing…
