I honestly couldn’t believe my luck this morning – S U N S H I N E ! The typical Autumn golds are back as the sun burst through heavy rain this morning – oh, the joy! OK, so it was short-lived, and I got a little excited there – 3 coffees in today – but it was a pleasant sight (empty beach also).
There are waves, but it’s closing out. You’ll run the gauntlet and try and stick your head in a tube (see exhibit A – Grayson), but the majority are crunching on the banks with limited opportunity.
I’ve been staring at the Padang Padang cam on Surfline, and oh wow, it’s firing today. Let’s go! Excited for the comp at G-land.
