Our short fling with glorious sunshine is over, we’re back to the damp and dark version of Sydney as we enter a week of rain. I know, I know, breathe, we’re all over this rain but there’s not much we can do about it! I bought gumboots yesterday and Bunnings finally got their supply of umbrellas back (for 12 bucks – they’re the best – yes, I am a simple man).
The swell came up overnight and breaking 3-4 foot @ Bondi with a bit of junk on it. Fun banks but onshore now.
A reader said to me the other day – I have no idea what you write about, as it’s different and very colloquial, but your pics are good.

We raised $6k for Surfaid and won the fundraising competition. Thank you to everyone that donated. Truly appreciate it. We didn’t win the surfing, the level is very high with semi-pros dominating teams. We’ll practice for another year.
Funny, same day, a year ago I photographed pigeons as the main shot. Today, same same (without knowing). Must be a birdie time of year.
