Sydney is feeling semi-normal as we open up a bit more. A delightful weekend of spring weather and a thundering south swell that arrived on Sunday morning and continues today.
It is fools gold out there; you probably ran down with your board thinking you’re going to score some four-footers…if you like close outs and surfing straight, you’ll love it! At least the crowd was minimal. So much water moving around out there; if you’re not an experienced water person, maybe work on your tan.
Enjoy today; it’s a cracker. Rain forecast for tomorrow afternoon that will smother most of this week.
For the people that prefer raw data, and less of my dribble:
It’s currently 18 degrees; low tide is 2:30 pm, 7 knots of NW blowing, predominate swell is dead south 180 degrees. The swell will drop right off tonight and remain small for the rest of the week.
