That’s how I like to finish a week – on a high. After weeks of volatile La Nina weather, we’ve got clear skies, 24-degree water and a small east swell on decent banks. Bingo!
You know it’s a good morning when I’ve shot in the water, on land with sticks and filled up all my CF cards (all before 7:30am). Yeah, I was a bit trigger happy this morning. I agree.
WSL Qualifying Series descends on Sydney for Mad Mex Maroubra Pro – before the heats kicked off, I shot the warm-ups, lots of young faces shredding a Trestle-esque shore break. It was only shoulder high, but some serious rails been laid. I guarantee you won’t get a wave off 35 hyper QS surfers after their morning java. The comp will run for three days before QS heads to Avoca. WSL
Have a fantastic weekend, a bit cloudy tomorrow but sunny on Sunday.
