Today’s images span the past 24 hours around Bondi Beach. We’ve had a cracker beach day yesterday and a much cooler, yet aesthetically pleasing (brief) sunrise today.
Last night some waves from the ENE were kicked up, but the onshore flow from the SSE was spoiling the fun at sunrise. A few guys were out at Bronte to Bondi – but I didn’t see them surfing anything significant. Let’s wait until it neatens up a little aye? A massive amount of Blue Bottles in the water too – so suit up. I got one last week.
Browsing this week – temperatures seem very mild for summer, surf looks 1-2-3 ft and on the smaller side.
No WSL at Lennox – Bells, Margs and Snapper – maybe. So where is the first CT tour stop this year – YEW-CASTLE! Merewether Beach or Dixon Park will host the best surfers in the world from April 1 to April 11. The first WSL private jet will land March 8, and all passengers will do the 14-day quarantine. Let’s hope it’s smoother than the Australian Tennis Open. I wonder if our surfers will demand private mansions with wave pools to practice?
