It was a drizzly, grey kinda beach morning. Not pretty – that didn’t stop a lot of crew heading down there. The holiday season is in the air.
Finally, some new banks at Bondi and a large pack were enjoying lefts in the middle with this ENE swell. I’m glad that swell didn’t get as big as predicted yesterday – it would have damaged the new bank setup. Occasionally there was a head high set, but wow, plenty of frothers on it.
Still plenty of rain on the long-range forecast. A very different summer in many ways! Warragamba Dam is choccas and bushfire season looking under control. Only a year ago we were waking up to choking smoke, every day.
NCHE have their Spring/summer wetsuits out now. Good pressie for the keen surfer.
