It’s been a tough week for us surfers due to a lack of swell. I bet there are some cranky pant foam riders reluctantly working from home…looking very detached in their zoom calls.
I bring good news; next week has plenty of swell – but also plenty of onshore wind (and rain). I don’t care, and I’ll surf anything at the moment. Twenty knots onshore, I will be there. Give me a wave close my head height – and with my oriental genes, I’m not asking for much!
I did find a few little weak dribbles around the place this morning but don’t get too excited. A sunny day so far as we approach 26 degrees with NE winds. Go for a swim, crazy if you don’t. The water is icy because of the northerlies. Sunday’s south winds will warm the ocean back up.
Have a great weekend, our Bondi gallery is open 10am to 6pm both days if you’re looking for something to do on a rainy weekend. We’re at 151 Curlewis Street Bondi Beach – behind the Bondi hotel in the middle of the beach.
Adios, Ugio
I like the picks especially when the sea is flat so I know I don’t miss anything sitting here in HK.
Ha!
Yeah, coming into summer, lots of flat days ahead.
