We’ve got a nice, clean morning down the beach. The onshore wind system has finally moved on, and a gentle NW breeze has been grooming the ocean for your morning swim.
There’s kinda of a wave in the middle, in front of the tower, but it’s a super fat right that draws you into a shallow shorey that will probably snap your 10 foot log. You can’t really surf it on a short board as you need 50 litres of foam.
I can remember in previous years commenting on Aquabumps how we live at the most consistently average, consistently surfable wave in the world. I take that all back now. I have never seen a year like this… a local commented to me this morning “it’s like we’re trying to surf Coogee every day”.
We need banks, swell and a vaccine. That’s all.

Wow Euge.
Banks and Swell are always welcome but if you think we need a vaccine then I mistook you for someone with a brain.
Would you surf at a beach polluted with neurotoxic chemicals and other industrial pollutants. Of course you wouldn’t because you wouldn’t risk injesting those chemicals and getting sick.
But you would happily be injected with neurotoxic chemicals , in a vaccine untested on the human population ( rushing science means short cuts)
I suggest you open mindedly do some research into the vaccine program before you wish for something that I guarantee will negatively impact your health.
Do you also eat foods sprayed with chemical pesticides, I’m guessing no
You seem to be an advocate for organic food and healthy living in general, like most surfers and lovers of nature.
Please rethink your stance on vaccines . Do some research and don’t be a puppet of this corrupt government, spreading a message to your mass audience that we should pray for our freedom in the tip of a needle.
You sound a little irrational. We still need a vaccine.
C’mon do that russian vaccine and you’ll feel the difference.
