Italy has been hard hit by The Rona. I don’t think we need to go over those statistics that are on a constantly looping on the tele. It’s just so damn sad.
It’s no secret, I’ve got a soft spot for Italy. People think I’m Italian, I’m not…the dark tan misleads many. For many years I avoided visiting destinations that didn’t have waves. About 8 years ago, a trip to the Amalfi Coast changed all that. I had no idea The Med had such amazing water clarity, such deep blues. I had no idea I’d enjoy a Euro beach club (don’t worry, I don’t wear Euro speedos or tanning oil). I underestimated how much beauty I’d discover in their landscape. The food obviously blew my mind and the Italian “carefree-live the now” attitude was addictive.
We’ve visited Europe around 5 times now, and Italy is always tied into an itinerary somewhere. We will return, when we’re done with all this Ronski.
Here’s a collection of some of my Italian favourites…enjoy, soak it up, take a moment out of your home isolation! All images can be purchased, framed, shipped anywhere in the globe, or for free if in Australia. Frames start at $150. Let’s chat.
