Today is RUOK day. Are you ok? It’s a day dedicated to reminding people to ask family, friends and colleagues the question, “R U OK?”, in a meaningful way, because connecting regularly and meaningfully is one thing everyone can do to make a difference to anyone who might be struggling.
The surf isn’t OK today. It’s tiny, windy and pretty horrible. 1/10. Do something else. The surf forecast isn’t amazing – I haven’t surfed in about 4 weeks and losing my mind!
I’m getting overwhelmed with emails about how to book a boat on the Amalfi Coast. I literally hit google and booked our catamaran on Click and Boat. You need a boat leaving Naples of Salerno ports. Yes, we hired a captain as it’s too tricky without local knowledge and it guarantees a stress-free holiday. We scored a 42-foot Lagoon catamaran, which was a sweet ride for 4 guests. Cats are awesome when parked, not so great upwind, but it’s very calm seas most of the time (not like here). Its one of our best trips to date and look forward to taking our kids when they’re a bit older. I would also look at sailing through the Aeolian Islands near Sicily if you’re hot on the idea.
