Capri

We’re on the seductive island of Capri – which just hangs off the Amalfi Coast. Everyone loves this place and I find loads of Aussies here.

The raw beauty of this island is breathtaking with enormous cliffs that jut directly from the sea. The water clarity is a constant ‘perfecto’ and water temp a salubrious 23 degrees. Basically, you swim all day here.

The town is quaint with pathways that you can’t fit cars down. It’s kinda like Rotto Island with Celine and Gucci shops instead of the Red Rooster. The uber rich come here in their mega yachts and it’s a magnet for very famous people. I don’t care for all that – put me in a sea cave at sunrise with no one else, and I’m pretty stoked. Yes, we snuck into the Blue Grotto before the mafia put it on lockdown for the day. Bucket list kinda moment.

  1. Great pictures as always! (But you have to go further west in the Med to find water that is “perfecto”.)
