The ghosts of Bondi Icebergs

Flow

The wind has set in and it’s knocking the tops off the 2 footers at Bondi. Really ugly surf conditions down there this morning…definitely give it a miss. I gather most of you slept in as not many people were around.

The swell will grow later tonight and stand tall at 6 foot tomorrow, protected south corners will be the go. It will be pretty solid, it’s just the wind that will be the problem (SW 20 knots forecasted).

The weather this weekend looks reasonable (meaning it won’t be pouring)…also, there should be a few waves around in the 3 foot vicinity. Good one to get away. Land Rover trusted me with one of their new Discoverys for a test drive a few weekend’s ago…and here’s a short film they made of our little road trip…to motivate you to get away, so many good spots in NSW to go see on weekends.

How good is it that Taj and Steph, two aussies, are on top of professional surfing after their wins at the Quiky Pro (sorry about being 4 days late on that news, got distracted).

The Goodwin family are unique. They’re travelling thru 18 countries in 13 months making a highly crafted film – The Goodwin Project. After watching this teaser I’m sure you’ll quit your job and go bush. The director and producer of this highly crafted film are speaking at the Mac Store, Bondi Junction tomorrow night (Thurs 8 March) at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome.

Have a good day :: uge
