It’s just one of those mornings that you just can’t get enough of… One of the first warm mornings of this summer and everybody was up doing something down at Bondi.
Very small, insignificant waves on offer today – 1 to 1.6 footers at Bondi. Perfect for the 25 kilo groms. It should be 3 foot on Saturday and Sunday – best wait until then and just go for a dip today. The water is so much warmer…kicked up a couple of degrees. 20 degrees perhaps? (boardies is fine, wetties not required)
Art Sydney opened last night and looks amazing. It’s open midday to 9pm today…so if you don’t want to be a sweaty pub full of suits, come after work tonight. Download your complimentary ticket here (and bring with you for free entry). Come see us at the Aquabumps stand (F6), can’t miss us.
How about Kelly Slater, 10 time world surfing champion, and his 10 million dollar bonus that he has opted to take in Quiksilver shares. Slater now owns 3% of Quiky. Smart fella.

PS – these waterproof bags come in handy. I’ve swam ashore from a boat with my camera gear using them. Try em.
Uge ,
Some of our staff are already going there as part of an office get cultural trip – well look out for you.
Cheers

Hi,
Just a thank you from the Northern Hemisphere (Ireland) from someone who enjoys the daily diet of the Bondi Views.
The opposite seasons help the five minutes of escapism as I revel in the daily views of Bondi.
We have, this week, had the discovery of a new wave off Ireland’s coast as featured in the Irish Times http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/ireland/2010/1109/1224282943520.html
which might tickle your fancy.
I spent some time in Australia in the 70’s and lost a surfboard on Sydney Harbour Bridge in the wind having driven with it from WA.
A travelling colleague was caught in Cyclone Treacy in Darwin that year.
We were back in Oz 2 years ago and it hasn’t lost its magic.
So congrats on highlighting one of natures marvels so well .
Regards
Rory
