Bondi makes me laugh…
At the first hint of warm weather the summer circus begins. Yesterday the beach was PACKED (with waves). The crowds brought traffic jams, parking rage, spinning rims and doof doof.
This morning was no different. At sunrise a stretched hummer full of bikini clad girls pour out for a ‘Hooters’ photo shoot. (That’s Hooters, the restaurant chain from USA). Fancy.
The waves were 2 foot with the odd freak set…clean, surfable…nothing special as the lack of sand banks hinder any energy rolling into the bay. I suspect this south swell will run out of puff today and flatness will prevail tomorrow. (the flattest day of the week).

I’ve been pushing out this daily report for 11 years now and today I have some very exciting news…Aquabumps is now aligned with 3 key brands – Canon, Land Rover and Telstra. Well done Uge, this is great news. I left Campbell PDE, Bondi 5 years ago and still get your Aquabumps email everyday. After surfing daily at Bondi for 6years (well, when there was surf….), it’s always a welcomed email. Up here in Townsville we don’t get any surf but still love the shots!
