I am not all that happy about the drop in morning temperatures but you know what winter brings – finely tuned south swells. Bondi loves the dead south (that would be 180 degrees for those with their protractors out). Nice little bump in swell earlier this morning, 2-3 foot and offshore winds. Large crowds out for the sunrise session.
Unfortunately the south change has arrived and the show is already over. When I just rode the steel horse down Campbell, (all 96 cc’s of it), I saw a butchered-white-capped-mess. So now you’ll have to wait for the winds to subside and focus on non-aquatic activities.
Quite a few people stumble across our gallery and mention they didn’t know it existed and read Aquabumps – well, just to confirm, yep, we have a gallery in Bondi. We’ve had galleries for 6 years now and Curlewis Street is now our only store. (closed North Bondi and Bali galleries to concentrate on the new mega gallery). Anyway, drop by, we’re open every day except Mondays from 10am to 6pm. Most people comment on how different (in a good way) the pictures look blown up.
