Finally some waves up here on the Gold Coast…ripper. The constant onshores subsided and some nice clean 2-3 footers at a small beach near Tweed. The place is overrun with pros in anticipation for the Roxy Pro/Quiky Pro that starts on the 27th Feb. (World tour stop No.1)
From all reports Sydney was smoking yesterday, which caught everyone off guard. The charts are showing a lot of wind and rain today in Sydney. Tomorrow is 6ft solid at Bondi, with SW winds…could be ok if the banks can handle it.
Up here in Queensland the waves will get bigger tomorrow, hopefully the flanking winds won’t junk it up.
Cheers, uge
