That violent southerly change last night was something special. Spectacular. A sausage cloud rolled over from Tama bringing rain, lightning and a serious gale. Unfortunately it’s ruined the clean surfaces of yesterday and halved the swell to the 4-5 foot range. Bondi still wasn’t much fun and not handling the larger conditions – pass.
Tomorrow the winds go north again – dang – so the good times will roll.
Jhyimy “Two Hats” “Bondi Caveman”
It’s no secret, Jhyimy “Two Hats” Mhiyles (or Peter James Paul Millhouse), 54, has been charged with sexually assaulting a 21 year old girl on Sunday 1st Nov 2009. He denies the allegations and has been refused bail. Jhyimy “Two Hats” is the guy that lives on the cliffs at South Bondi that cameo’s in most of my morning shots. He’s been living up there for 10 years…well, a mate of mine Paul shot a video of him on his last night up at the cliffs – only a couple of hours before the alleged incident. See Video

the video on ‘two hats’ certainly showed multiple versions of his ‘two hats’ – the first version was his garble about mother earth versus how he actually lives – in a filthy pile of ever-increasing junk – another version was his garbled ‘guru wisdom’ versus his eyes constantly seeking attention from the walkers above. And the ‘every pretty thing that walks past is just another beautiful flower in the garden of life’ (no mention of anyone other than the pretty things) in the same sentence as ‘or you can be a sleaze’ – gave yourself away mate!

The man it appears to me has adopted some extreme views built around his notoriety and there were so many offhanded comments directed at “you” that it would appear that the “you” people of the world have to stand back while Mr Two Hats does what ever he likes. I believe we all must live with moral and human values that cause us to respect and admire each other.
Sorry but this man has serious touble earning my respect.Turning the cliffs at Bondi into a shanty town are not what I would think most people want.
I do love your work and having lived in and around Bondi all my life it’s a great way to showcase the colour and life that is Bondi.

Surely it wouldnt be to hard for a few of you local millionair residents to put up 10 grand to a girl of limited psych intergrity herself to save your million dollar views.

Waverley council are packing up Jhimmy 2 hats cave this morning. I feel really sad for the guy, that he is assumed guilty and has to prove he is innocent. Who is going to believe this guy! It feels to me like a convenient way to get rid of him, to hang a charge on him, especially at the start of Sculpture by the sea. Mention sexual assault and immediately the public will turn on him. If he did the crime, then yeah he needs to be held accountable, but we don’t know the facts yet, so hold off with the public stoning. I watched the video, and yeah, the guy is out there all right, but i what i saw was a simple human being who is totally and spiritually connected to the earth and ocean and not a sexual predator.
